Spelling Matters was designed with one thing in mind: To be effective and flexible. The system was tested and perfected though years of testing at ESL schools by teachers and students. The program was designed to meet a variety of needs and time constraints. Each book has twenty units with activity and study pages. At the end of the book there are test sheets and a score records. The book is a self contained program that does not need any extra printouts or handouts. The online program works as both a study aid and pronunciation help.
